Having worked with British Airways in the past, when it came to the Autumn Internationals, BA were keen to create another eye catching interactive experience at Twickenham. BA wanted to enhance the fan engagement zone with an experience that was suitable for all ages, that would provide all users with unique take away, sharable content.

Lift 109.
We set up a QR registration system to help with queue management, which is an absolute must if you’ve been to Twickenham during a match day! The registration system logs each user and sets up their unique profile so they can receive their captured content at the end of the user journey.
Each user received an RFID card which they could then use to register their turn on the kicking and throwing challenge. Once registered each user took turns to kick and throw the rugby balls through certain holes when the flashed. Xi use sensors and animating LEDs to automate the scoring system which gives users instant accurate scores. Each hole was worth a certain amount of points, with the most successful player making their way to the top of the leader board. Users could then snap a selfie using their RFID card.
Users could then simply download their content along with a short video of their attempt at the kicking and throwing challenge which could be easily shared on social.
