To mark 100 years of dynamic duos, unlikely pals and inseparable friends, Disney opened the doors to a stunning multi-sensory pop-up experience. Visitors ventured through immersive spaces celebrating iconic Disney characters, stories and friendships.

Through their partnership with Snapchat, visitors will be able to bring Disney characters and stories to life in Augmented Reality by scanning QR codes in each exhibition room.

Xi provided a guest management solution, using RFID keycards to completely personalise the user’s experience.  Friendship groups walk through the experience and choose the answers to the questions on the “unlock screens”.

Xi software assigns the users a friendship archetype to their UID profile using tournament logic. The journey culminates with a photo, their ‘type of friendship’ being revealed and a personalised printed takeaway.
