House of the dragon.

To support with HBO’s new ‘House Of The Dragon’ launch in 2022, shown exclusively on Sky, Sky wanted to create a photo experience that would place fans at the heart of the series. The experience Wass touring around the UK for 6 days to promote the upcoming series ahead of its launch.

We were excited to work along side Jack Morton to create a photo experience that captured users sitting on the Iron Throne, placing them at the heart of the brand. 

We create custom branded photo-booth unit to accompany the Iron Throne on it’s UK tour. The photo-booth faced the Iron Throne, waiting to capture guests taking a seat and posing.

Manned by Sky staff, the photo-booth captured a still image. Users were encouraged to take a seat on the Iron Throne and pose for an image that was then transformed into a promo-style poster for the series, with an animated HOTD branded overlay. The content was then transformed into a GIF. Each user could then scan the QR code on the photo-booth LCD totem touchscreen that would open and save their content directly to their device. This provided a quick and easy way for each user to access and receive their photo content without having to provide any data, speeding up the user journey.
