Ocean Outdoors: St. James Quarter

Gamified D6 unit for a bank holiday Food Festival.

Over the Easter weekend, St. James Quarter, Edinburgh’s newest shopping centre, hosted a competition to support their Food Festival, powered by the Xi competition app.

We styled the application as a ‘spin-to-win’ solution to give participants the chance to win on the spot prizes for food and drink – capturing user data to re-market to local residents.

Hosted on one of Ocean Outdoor’s D6 DOOH totem media players, visitors signed up with Brand Ambassadors via tablets to trigger the game. We were thrilled with the level of engagement the game received over the 3 live days.
