At xi, we had the pleasure of working with Chessington World of Adventures to create a permanent experience based on the popular children’s book, ‘Room on the Broom’. The experience is called the Room on the Broom Animated Movie Experience and is a unique and immersive attraction that transports visitors into the magical world of the book.

With the use of RFID bands, visitors can register and create a profile. The experience begins with visitors taking pictures in the queue before entering the green room, known as the ‘movie studio,’ where they mount a broomstick and simulate flying. Our innovative technology then turns their movements into a two-minute movie that visitors can purchase and have sent to their personal email.
Additionally, visitors can purchase and print their photos from the queue, which are linked to their RFID band. They can simply tap their band on a self-service digital screen to view their photos and make their purchase.
The Room on the Broom Animated Movie Experience is a unique and exciting way for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the beloved children’s book. Our focus on innovation and user experience ensures that visitors have a fun and unforgettable time at Chessington World of Adventures.
