At Xi, we had the privilege of collaborating with the English Cricket Board to create an extraordinary fan event experience fan zone for the Hundred in 2022. Our innovative use of interactive technology brought fans closer to the game and created a memorable experience that they will cherish forever.
The Hundred
Putting fans at the heart of the game.
With the integration of four immersive digital experiences into the Hundred app, fans could engage and entertain themselves before and during the matches.
Our unique experiences included the Keeper Challenge, where fans defended their team by hitting a board of pucks flashing at different times and speeds. The Ultimate Catch gave fans the opportunity to dive into a pit of soft foam and catch a cricket ball while enjoying a stadium backdrop for a memorable photo. Our AR T-shirt photo booth allowed fans to choose their team’s shirt and pose for a picture, which was then printed out. Finally, fans could strike a pose like a pro and take a group photo.
Our brand activations ran successfully at every match across the summer of 2022, with fans using them consistently from the moment the gates opened until closing time. Additionally, we supercharged app user registrations and made the fan experience one-of-a-kind.
