Google has re-launched their famous ‘Doodle Game’ to celebrate the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics which are being held between 24th August and 5th September 2021. Originally designed to celebrate the Olympic spirit, this year the game virtually transports players to a virtual island where sporting events are underway. Players can explore the mini island filled with games, bonus levels and quests. Try it for yourself, and don’t worry you can resume where you left off as google saves your high score!

Stimulate your senses with a trip to the museum. Utrecht Central Museum have recently launched an all inclusive exhibit appealing to all with installations that can be smelt, heard, felt, tasted and seen. With the aim of making artwork more accessible to the visually impaired, this installation is one experiment on the way to more improvements, with better accessibility and facilities as important as the display.

Bionic limbs have been around for a while, but science has gone a whole step further with the development of the bionic eye. Earlier this year in Israel surgeons implanted the very first bionic cornea into the eye of a blind man. Virtually straight after the procedure the patient regained sight and could read and identify his family!
